Celebrity chef designed menus running all weekend with guest chefs running their stall from 6 pm - 9 pm Saturday 13 August for the annual "Harry Hawker Street Food Party".

How It Works...

Festival Village is Taste Port Douglas' two-day foodie paradise overlooking the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest in the palm ‍‍‍lined, Rex Smeal park.Enjoy food, wine, live cooking demos by celebrity chefs, master classes, market style produce stalls, live music, a full program of kids activities and much more.

General Admission entry is FREE with reserved seating and VIP lounge options starting at $15.

To eat, HAWKER food stalls operate from 10am on Saturday 12 August serving up celebrity chef dishes, from 6pm the guest chefs arrive to present their dish for the HARRY HAWKER STREET FOOD PARTY, party until 11pm.  On Sunday 13 August the food vans roll in to Festival Village for the. FOOD TRUCK FIESTA.  Menus will be available ahead of the weekend.  Limited reserved marquee restaurant style seating is $15, otherwise bring a blanket.

To drink, enjoy talks with industry experts within the festival bar and beverage zone.Food stalls/vans, market stalls and the festival bar operate in cash with Eftpos available at festival pop ups and festival bar and some produce/market stalls. No ATM facilities available in the village.

While the majority of activities within Festival Village are free, some are ticketed or require pre-registration, please review the program and information carefully below.  

This is an all ages licensed and catered event.  BYO food or beverage is strictly prohibited.  Underage guests must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.  Adults purchasing alcohol must be able to produce photo ID on request and are required to wear a festival issued wrist band at all times on the grounds.
